Take the clinic day out of the chaos

Real-time patient flow

Track scheduled, checked-in, in-progress and pending-checkout visits in a shared view. Changes to the patient entry are reflected on connected team screens.

Drag-and-drop status

Move eligible entries to a permitted next stage. Transitions respect staff permissions and the visit’s current status.

Team visibility

Who is with which patient, what is next — from front desk to vet, everyone sees the same board.

Follow the patient handoff from arrival to checkout

Flowboard connects the reception desk, the veterinary team and checkout around the same patient visit. Use the board, list or timeline view to see the day’s workload, then open a record for its assigned veterinarian, linked examination and payment context.

  1. Check the patient in

Start with a scheduled visit or register a walk-in. Check the patient and owner details before progressing the record. The daily view helps the team distinguish planned arrivals from patients who have already checked in, without using a second handwritten queue.

  2. Keep the examination connected

Move an eligible patient into the examination stage with the required permissions. Open the linked SOAP record, or start the record-creation flow if one is needed. The visit and clinical notes remain connected while the veterinarian reviews the examination details.

  3. Prepare checkout and close the visit

When the patient is ready for checkout, open the linked sale or prepare a draft from the Flowboard entry. Review the billing information and complete the appropriate workflow before closing the visit. Closed and cancelled visits remain distinct from active work.

A shared board with controlled transitions

Moving a card follows the permitted status transitions; it does not approve clinical notes or finalize a payment. Access depends on the action and staff permissions. Closed, cancelled and past-date entries cannot be freely moved between columns.
